Pastor and Worship Leader

Pastor Matt Trombley was called to Life of Purpose in 2006 as a bi-vocational pastor. He also taught Math in Utica Community Schools for 16 years. Now, he is full-time and strives to present God’s Word each Sunday with practical and relatable examples. He trusts the Holy Spirit to teach and transform lives. In his free time, he loves coaching, fishing and basketball.

Jaime has performed musically since she was 6 years old. She is passionate about singing and is also a member of the St. Clair Shores Community Chorus. Her love for music and God help the church engage in worship each Sunday. Jaime is also a math specialist for Lakeview Public Schools. She loves swimming, exercising, playing games, and summer vacation. Together, they have two children, Elli and Ethan, and a bird dog named Milli.

Joe and Kari Woycik

Elder and Women’s Ministry

Joe and Kari helped start LOP in 2005 with a few other families. They have served in many roles over the years. Currently, Joe is an elder and knows the great responsibility it is to lead God’s church. He also co-leads the men’s ministry by teaching God’s word and raising up kingdom-minded men. He is paving the way for his three boys, Abe, Sam, and Ben.

Kari now leads the women’s ministry. She desperately wants to see women come together, grow in their faith, and love one another. Kari also runs her own Thirty-One business while home-schooling the boys.

Justin and Chrissy Slack

Deacon and Admin Leader

Justin and Chrissy joined the LOP Family in 2014. Justin serves as deacon and leads all ministries that help those in need. He works for a manufacturing company and served our country in the Marine Corps. Justin loves playing hockey, fishing and golf.

Chrissy is the behind the scenes coordinator of all that happens at LOP. She helps keep everyone informed and everything running smoothly. If you have a question, just ask Chrissy! In her free time, Chrissy enjoys spending time with her family, playing games, and shopping! Together, they have two children, LeeAnn and Hunter along with their dog, Diezel.
