Acts 2 See the parallel between Moses on Mt. Sinai and the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. At Sinai, they received the gift of the Torah. At Pentecost, they receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. At Sinai, God wrote the law on tablets of stone. At Pentecost, God wrote the law on the tablets of their hearts. At Sinai, God birthed the Israelite nation. At Pentecost, God birthed the Christian nation.
